UFC 141: Lesnar vs. overeem Live Odds

Former champions Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem will headline a UFC card on Dec. 30, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The bout will be a five-round main event and the winner will face heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos.

Lesnar returns to action for the first time since overcoming a second stint of diverticulitis, while Overeem makes his organizational debut.

The winner of the highly anticipated heavyweight bout receives the opportunity to dethrone the winner of this weekend's UFC on Fox championship matchup between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos.

After dropping his UFC debut to Frank Mir, Lesnar went on to defeat the likes of Randy Couture, Frank Mir (Rematch), Heath Herring, and Shane Carwin to claim and defend the heavyweight championship.

His dominance came to an end at UFC 121 when he met current champion Cain Velasquez, as Lesnar was defeated by first round technical knockout.

Overeem enters the organization after most recently defeating Fabricio Werdum by decision this past June under the Strikeforce banner.

94 percent of the former Strikeforce heavyweight champion and K-1 world grand prix kickboxing champion's wins have come by way of knockout or submission.

At 6'5, 256 pounds, Overeem presents Lesnar with his largest opponent to date and Lesnar returns the favor by welcoming "The Demolition Man" to the Octagon with his superior wrestling.
