Bet UFC 103 Odds Today |

Vitor Belfort, just 20 years old, blasting
through his opponents with blistering hand speed and power.
Belfort, who has won four straight,
has scored KOs or TKOs in seven of his last eight victories,
proving once and for all that “The Phenom” is back.
A win for Franklin would put him one fight
away from a light heavyweight title shot, whereas a loss
will signify that Franklin is merely a talented fighter who
can’t beat the top guys. As for Belfort, a win will make him
a superstar to casual fans and set him up for a run at the
middleweight title, while a loss could put him in a legends
re-match of sorts with somebody like Randy, Chuck, Wanderlei,
or Tito.
Also, Co-heading the main event, Heavyweight up-and-comer
Junior dos Santos will fight veteran Mirko “Cro Cop”
Filipovic.
Dos Santos (8-1), who’s never gone the distance in any of
his 9 career bouts, is currently riding a 3-fight win streak
that includes
back-to-back first-round knockouts of Fabrico Werdum and
Stefan Struve inside the Octagon.
Filipovic was previously reported to be departing the UFC in
favor of the Japanese DREAM promotion, but the recent news
from dos Santos makes it appear as if we will be seeing the
return of Cro Cop to the octagon sooner rather than later.
Filipovic “Cro Cop” most recently competed at UFC 99: “The
Comeback,” making a return to the Octagon to defeat British
heavyweight Mostapha Al-turk in controversial fashion, an
inadvertent eye poke that was missed by the referee led to a
first round victory.
Plenty of ufc betting action, when Frank Trigg (19-6
MMA, 2-3 UFC) takes on Josh Koscheck (12-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC)
Koscheck was scheduled to take on Chris Wilson at the UFC 98
event which took place last weekend, but was forced to
withdraw from the fight due to a toe injury suffered during
training. Koscheck started his UFC career by winning seven
of his first eight fights in the organization. The American
Kickboxing Academy-trained fighter has since gone just 3-3,
dropping hard-fought decisions to Georges St. Pierre and
Thiago Alves, as well as a surprising TKO defeat to Paulo
Thiago in his most recent performance.
Since Trigg started in the UFC, he has put together a 7-2
record in promotions like Sengoku, PRIDE and ICON Sport,
where he won that
promotion's Middleweight Championship by defeating Jason
"Mayhem" Miller via TKO in 2006. He lost that belt to Robbie
Lawler in his first
defense, but has since put together a four-fight winning
streak to earn his way back into the UFC.
Mike Swick vs. Martin Kampmann
Middleweight contenders and current UFC welterweight
standouts Mike Swick (14-2) and Martin Kampmann (15-2) will
face off in a fantastic
170-pound showdown.
Kampmann has won two straight fights at 170 pounds after
moving up from the middleweight division. Kampmann is coming
off a split-decision
win over Carlos Condit at UFC Fight Night 18 in April. The
Xtreme Couture fighter is an impressive 11-1 in his last 12
fights.
Kampmann is 2-0 at 170 pounds after making the switch from
middleweight following a September 2008 loss to Nate
Marquardt. Kampmann was 4-0
in the UFC as a middleweight prior to the loss.
Swick is currently riding a four-fight winning streak of his
own in the welterweight division. Swick is coming off a
second-round TKO victory
over Ben Saunders at UFC 99 earlier this month. Swick is 9-1
overall in his last 10 fights. This fight between Mike Swick
and Martin Kampmann
will determine the next challenger to UFC welterweight
champion Georges St. Pierre.

The Ultimate Fighting Championships began in
1993. It redefined what martial arts was all about. It set in
motion, the battleground for the karate community, where
fighters from all backgrounds could come together and test
their art, mano o mano, man vs man against the best, all
trained in different arts. Set aside was the facade, the smoke
screens and the mystique behind each art and now naked before
you was the basic street fighter!
