The main event was headlined by the Bellator season six welterweight finals which featured former middleweights Karl Amoussou and Bryan Baker. Fans barely got a chance to get settled in before it was all done.

About 45 seconds into the bout, Baker threw a side kick which semi-landed but Amoussou dropped down and rolled into a nasty inverted heel hook which forced "The Beast" to tap out for the first time in his career.

An emotional Karl Amoussou called out champion Ben Askren in his post-fight speech, calling him a "lay-and-prayer" and saying he'll "bring some excitement back to the welterweight division."

Bryan Baker vs Karl Amoussou:

Round 1: Baker is aggressive from the outset, chasing the Frenchman down with punches and front kicks, trying to crowd him. An errant Baker right hand pokes Amoussou in the eye, however, prompting a brief pause from referee James Warring.

On the restart, Amoussou lands a leg kick that trips Baker up, and he snatches a rear waistlock. Instead of elevating for the takedown, Amoussou drops and spins, locking up an inverted heel hook perfectly, forcing an instantaneous tap in just 56 seconds. Incredible submission for Karl Amoussou, the Bellator Season 6 welterweight tournament winner.
