The main event features the long awaited Strikeforce heavyweight title defense of Alistair Overeem as he faces off against Brett Rogers aka that guy who did pretty well for a round against Fedor.

In the co-main event Andrei Arlovksi looks to rectify his chin issues and prove that his head is still in the game, in part thanks to a new girlfriend (that is not a joke) when he faces off against Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva.

Also, that really good grappler guy nicknamed "Jacare" (that mean's alligator in Portuguese) is on the card too.

Alistair Overeem vs Brett Rogers:

No one expected the fight to go very long, but I don't think anyone expected it to be as lopsided as it ended up being. Brett Rogers was able to land one strike before Overeem got a hold of him and ragdolled him to the ground. From there it was clear that Rogers had no ability to get off his back. Overeem landed a huge flurry of punches that forced referee "Big" John McCarthy to stop the fight.

It was Rogers' second loss in a row after dropping his last bout to Fedor Emelianenko. Overeem made the first successful defense of his Strikeforce heavyweight title since winning it in 2007.

Assuming Fedor is able to beat Fabricio Werdum in June, Strikeforce actually has a hot potential fight on their hands if the Russian's camp will agree to fight Overeem.

Antonio Silva vs Andrei Arlovski:

The co-main event of the evening featured former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski clashing with Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva. From the opening bell something appeared to be wrong with Arlovski as his footwork was slow, his punches were wide and his body language was less than ideal.

Silva stood back and countered whenever Arlovski attempted to throw any strikes. With the harder punches landing for Silva some of the questions of Andrei Arlovski's chin were answered as he refused to go away when hit with hard, straight punches.

The Strikeforce announcing problems were on display as a second round that was very close was framed as lopsided by Gus Johnson and Frank Shamrock's refusal to acknowledge any work done by Arlovski. In the third round things were very close until Silva scored a takedown where he was able to control the latter part of the round to lock up the decision.

Jacare Souza vs Joey Villaseñor:

Jacare's rise through the MMA world continued with a lopsided decision win over Joey Villasenor.

For three rounds Jacare was able to get the better of the stand-up game, a portion of the fight that many expected Villasenor to dominate with his solid boxing. In between landing power shots Jacare displayed a very solid takedown game, getting double leg's to put the fight on the floor over and over. While on the ground Villasenor ate a lot of powerful blows.

The fight was mostly lather, rinse, repeat for three rounds with Villasenor finally able to do a little bit of work in the stand-up game but most fans still had him clearly losing the round. SB Nation scored the bout 30-27 after three rounds. When the official scorecards were read it was 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28 all for Jacare.
